Arts and Sciences Living-Learning Community in Parker-Adams


This living-learning community, open only to students in the College of Arts and Sciences, creates a residence hall community emphasizing and supporting student learning.
In order to maximize your Parker-Adams experience, we ask the following of the students participating in this living-learning community:

  1. complete Arts and Sciences 101 and 102 in the fall and spring semesters
  2. attend four hours of study hall per week
  3. attend  three cultural events per semester
  4. participate in service learning projects
  5. have a faculty mentor who will assist you in the first year
  6.  join in the spirit of friendship, community, and support that makes the transition to the University of Alabama so enjoyable.
