Blount Residence Hall
Description
Blount, also known as the Blount Living-Learning Center, was dedicated Sept. 30, 2000. The 62,600 sq-ft., four story facility includes residential facilities for up to 180 Blount Initiative students, (see living options) classrooms, a seminar room, a reading room and library, as well as computer facilities. Wireless Internet connection throughout the building is scheduled for fall 2008. The Blount Undergraduate Initiative program requires that freshmen live in the Living-Learning Center. Upperclass Blount Initiative students may reside in the center as space permits.
The Living-Learning Center is located behind Paty Hall, in close proximity to UA's Ferguson Student Center and the Student Services Building
Room Details:
- The approximate room dimensions are 12' by 12'.
- All rooms have two standard twin beds, two desks, and dressers.
- All rooms are suites.
- Window: 43" by 53" approximately.
- Microfridge included.
