Tutwiler Residence Hall

Description

Tutwiler houses 966 women in double rooms, all with community baths. Each room is equipped with a combination refrigerator/freezer/microwave unit and are furnished with a bed, desk, chair, closet, mirror and dresser for each occupant. The building features a snack bar, convenience store, ATM, laundry, and a branch of the University Supply Store. Wireless Internet connection throughout the building is scheduled for fall 2008.

Tutwiler is located on the southwest side of campus near Bryant-Denny Stadium, the Quad, Rose Administration Building, and Sorority Row.

Room Details:

• Approx. room dimensions: 10’5” X 14’11”
• Actual Floor Space: 8’5” X 14’11”
• Bulletin Boards on entry door: 28"x36"
• All double rooms have two twin height-adjustable beds
• Each room has two desks; most rooms have a five drawer dresser.
• Window: 45” high X 65” wide (mini blinds provided)
• Tiled Rooms floors
• The window sill is 64 ½” wide and 8 ½” deep.
• The microfridge is 43 1/2” high, 18 ½” wide and 19 ½” deep.
• The built-in wardrobe is 70” high, width is 43 ¾” and depth 23 ¼”
